Thoughts on Elena?

Having a girl and saw this earlier, I think I might love it. I already have an Evie, surname is boringly English, two syllable.

My grandparents were Serbian (who use Elena or Yelena) so its also a bit of a nod to my heritage if we go with it, seeing as our girls and I have DHs surname.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Love it! I only know one and she’s a super glamorous Italian lady in her early 30s. I didn’t know it was also Serbian so that’s a lovely nod to your heritage too.

I like it. I know a little girl called Marlena, which is also nice too.

LoveInTokyo · 28/06/2018 14:28

I really like it.

MikeUniformMike · 28/06/2018 14:34

It's nice. Is it pronounced Ellen-ah or Elaina?

100thousandreasons · 28/06/2018 14:53

I would pronounce it Eh-len-a

Oh. Yes, sure, it's pretty and a nice nod to your heritage.

LoveInTokyo · 28/06/2018 15:41

I know two. One is Spanish and pronounces it Eh-lay-na, the other is Russian and pronounces it more like Eh-leh-na.

KirstenRaymonde · 28/06/2018 15:44

I would pronounce it E-lay-na

AtticaRose · 28/06/2018 17:39

I know two, one English, one Russian. A lovely name.

TatianaLarina · 28/06/2018 21:20

Like both Elena and Yelena.

FogCutter · 28/06/2018 21:24

Lovely name and a great way to celebrate your heritage.
