Middle name help

Hi everyone,

I am due with my second son and am looking for a middle name to go with James.

James will be the second middle name (family tradition to have 2 middle names). I prefer old fashioned names but am open to ideas.

Can't use the below names as either used by myself or family member:
Arthur
David
Stanley

Also needs to be more than 1 syllable. Thanks!

It's just a middle name, not what you'll be calling him day in and day out, correct? Do you really think she'd mind?

I think you still use Chester as a middle name, even if your friend has used it.

Donald? That's my son's name, but since you're on the other side of the pond I give you permission to use it.

Andrew is another favorite of mine.

I do also love Frankie. Are Ellis James both middle names or is James the surname?

My husband is set on Sidney but he would be happy for me to have Ellis as a first name. I'm in 2 minds about Sidney Ellis James or Ellis Sidney James.

My reasoning for probably preferring Sidney as a first name is because DS1 has an old fashioned name (although it begins with an S too so that puts me off a bit) and all the girls names we like are old fashioned (if we have a girl in the future as would love a third) so think Sidney would go better.

Yes Ellis James are middle names....all my 3 have 2 middle names
