Baby will be here Wednesday. C section as they are breech. We've decided on a girls name but still struggling for a boys. So far we have;

Joshua
Joel
Benjamin
Reuben

Joshua has been the longest standing but then this week we both heard of a Reuben and decided to throw it into the mix.

Middle name will be Christopher. Surname is that of a famous battle 😉.

Grateful for any opinions.

Love Joel and Benjamin. Not so,keen on Joshua (too popular) or Reuben.

Alyx80 · 18/06/2018 22:23

I love Reuben.

Sophronia · 18/06/2018 23:06

I like Joel Christopher best.

DramaAlpaca · 18/06/2018 23:09

I also like Joel Christopher best.

They are a nice bunch of names.

SnowGoArea · 18/06/2018 23:09

Benjamin or Rueben are my favourites

Halfblindbunny · 18/06/2018 23:11

I love Reuben, there are too many Joshua's and Im not keen on Joel or Benjamin.
I'll throw Sebastian, Frederick and Samuel into the mix as they seem your kind of style.

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 18/06/2018 23:17

Benjamin or Reuben. Joel is alright but nothing like as special.

Joshua is so commonly heard now that I barely hear it. It's a lovely name, but I think I know about 10 and I don't even know that many kids.

finallychangedmyusername · 18/06/2018 23:18

I love all four names, but if you're set on using Christopher as a middle then Joel Christopher or Reuben Christopher would be my favourites.

TroubledLichen · 19/06/2018 01:01

Benjamin is my favourite but I also really like Reuben.

StrawberryCat · 19/06/2018 02:46

They are all really lovely names. I like your style. Benjamin is my favourite.

Other ideas:
Joseph/Joey
Micah/Mikey
Simon
Samuel/ Samson
Bennet
Dylan
Rory
Marcus
Owen
Ethan
Evan
Andrew
Alexander
Max

Exciting!!

FairfaxAikman · 19/06/2018 03:17

If your surname is what I think it is Joshua and Benjamin flow best IMO.
Prefer Benjamin personally.

Peachbubble · 19/06/2018 03:36

I would choose Benjamin

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 19/06/2018 06:45

Joshua.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 19/06/2018 06:47

I dislike Reuben.

The others are fine.

Icklepup · 19/06/2018 08:05

Joel!

Jammycustard · 19/06/2018 08:10

There’s a lot of Joushuas these days.

Benjamin. You can call him Benjy.

GrumpySausage · 19/06/2018 16:35

Ah, congratulations!

Erin Elizabeth is a lovely name

GrumpySausage · 22/06/2018 09:38

Thank you peach. Just realised my post should say she was born at 11.35, not 22.35.
