Just that...
Middle name would be Florence.

Esther is lovely. Ellen is nice.

Bubblesoup · 09/06/2018 20:56

Ellen ❤ I wanted an Ellen but DH vetoed it!

autumndreaming · 09/06/2018 20:56

Esther

Narya · 09/06/2018 20:57

They are both nice but Esther sounds better with Florence

SheGotBetteDavisEyes · 09/06/2018 21:00

Esther Florence is beautiful!

Esther is a fabulous name. Ellen is fine but a bit nothing-y next to Esther.

Sophronia · 09/06/2018 21:07

Esther Florence is lovely.

essieestherson · 09/06/2018 21:08

Esther's a great name! Goes brilliantly with Florence.

Mum2jenny · 09/06/2018 21:09

Ellen, as I think of Esther Rantzen

capercaillie · 09/06/2018 21:10

Either! Ellen is a longstanding favourite of mine - not that common but not unusual sounding. Plus I know a very feisty 17 year old Ellen who rocks...

Flamingosnbears · 09/06/2018 21:31

Ellen

TaggieRR · 09/06/2018 21:33

Ellen, but I like both names!

Cadencia · 09/06/2018 21:34

Esther

SlowlyShrinking · 09/06/2018 21:35

Both lovely. Either!

DramaAlpaca · 09/06/2018 21:36

Esther is better.

Ellen is seriously frumpy.

Youaremysunshine4eva · 09/06/2018 21:37

Esther is lovely

Joinourclub · 09/06/2018 21:38

Ellen

Though I prefer Elena Florence.

Wings13 · 09/06/2018 21:41

Pompom42 · 09/06/2018 21:45

Esther def.
Not sure about Ellen as to whether it's meant to be Ella or Helen.
Def Esther

CheshireSplat · 09/06/2018 21:47

I've got an Ellen. Unusual, but soooo easy to spell unless you live near Wales like we do .

TheWizardofWas · 09/06/2018 21:51

Ellen, strong and beautiful

CristalTipps · 09/06/2018 21:59

Esther! Ellen is a "Ruth" kind of name to me. Inoffensive, but if you've got the chance to name a new human, you can probably do better... Yours sincerely, someone with a "Ruth" type name.

(Also, there is a household name Ellen. The last household name Esther was Esther Williams. But don't ask me what kind of point I'm making with that, because I'm not sure right now...)

MrsCD67 · 09/06/2018 22:08

*'Ellen is a "Ruth" kind of name to me. Inoffensive, but if you've got the chance to name a new human, you can probably do better'
