Found out we’re having a girl, can I ask your opinions on...
Verity
Waverley
Kayla

Kayla is my favourite. I know a little Cayla and I think that spelling is pretty too.

I like the sound of Verity but I think if you're going to name your child after a virtue, truth is a bit meh. Hope, Charity, those are more aspirational.

I hate Waverley. It reminds me of wizards of Waverly Place,

I'm not keen on Verity but it's my favourite of those three.
Kayla is ok but sounds a bit made up and a bit 'soft'.
Waverley is a place I think and doesn't seem right first a girls name.

Its on my list and partner liked it till his mum said no because its a train station

There's also a Disney show called Wizards of Waverley Place.

I like Verity

My 2yr old is called Verity. I love it and have never met another Verity her age. Always get lots of comments on how lovely her name is.

Waverley is a train station or a paddle steamer, not a person's name.

Verity is an old-fashioned virtue game which I always think is hard to live up to.

I know an adult named Verity and everyone calls her 'V' which I assume is her choice.

Not sure about Kayla, will it just be shortened to Kay?

Not a fan of them tbh, but since these are your options (and you'll have to just accept some people won't like the name ) I'd go with Waverley.

Verity- too ageing to me.
Kayla- sounds like a dogs name.
