Kayla is my favourite. I know a little Cayla and I think that spelling is pretty too.

MrsTerryPratchett · 09/06/2018 06:05

I like the sound of Verity but I think if you're going to name your child after a virtue, truth is a bit meh. Hope, Charity, those are more aspirational.

Candyflip · 09/06/2018 06:15

I hate Waverley. It reminds me of wizards of Waverly Place,

FreshHorizons · 09/06/2018 06:23

Verity is lovely but I dislike the other 2.

Puremince · 09/06/2018 07:24

Verity is lovely.

Waverley makes me think of either the train station or the novels.

Hassled · 09/06/2018 07:25

Another vote for Verity. It's really pretty.
Agree that Waverley is a train station.

deptfordgirl · 09/06/2018 07:26

LOVE Verity, I would have gone for this if dh had agreed. Not keen on the other two.

badgerread · 09/06/2018 07:29

Verity is lovely!
Waverley is a borough council in Surrey...

ButterflyOfFreedom · 09/06/2018 07:30

I'm not keen on Verity but it's my favourite of those three.
Kayla is ok but sounds a bit made up and a bit 'soft'.
Waverley is a place I think and doesn't seem right first a girls name.

SamanthaH92 · 09/06/2018 07:33

I LOVE Waverley!!
Its on my list and partner liked it till his mum said no because its a train station

FairySpring · 09/06/2018 07:48

There's also a Disney show called Wizards of Waverley Place.

I like Verity

HmmInteresting · 09/06/2018 07:59

My 2yr old is called Verity. I love it and have never met another Verity her age. Always get lots of comments on how lovely her name is.

TatianaLarina · 09/06/2018 08:19

Strongly dislike all of them, sorry.

Frosty66612 · 09/06/2018 08:21

Verity is fine. Kayla is ok I suppose. Waverley is bloody awful

Jammycustard · 09/06/2018 08:23

Verity.

Ineedabiscuit · 09/06/2018 08:36

I think Verity is lovely .
Waverley is a nice name, not for a girl, but for a country house I think.
Kayla for me is bit ‘ Chardoney ‘ straight out Towie - sorry !

Narya · 09/06/2018 08:39

Kayla and Verity are nice, I would say Verity is much posher sounding than Kayla.

Waverley is dreadful, sorry. It doesn't even shorten to a nice NN that I can think of.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 09/06/2018 08:43

Really like verity lovely name. Kayla is ok. Waverley is awful. Sorry op

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 09/06/2018 08:56

Waverley is a train station or a paddle steamer, not a person's name.

Verity is an old-fashioned virtue game which I always think is hard to live up to.

Kayla is ok but I don't love it.

RonWeasleysMum · 09/06/2018 09:59

Waverley is cool!

WanderingTrolley1 · 09/06/2018 10:02

All awful, sorry.

LoveInTokyo · 09/06/2018 10:49

Verity - nice name
Waverley - not a name (train station in Edinburgh?)
Kayla - chavvy/wannabe American or Australian

BonnieF · 09/06/2018 10:53

Verity is fine.

Waverley sounds like railway station.

Kayla sounds rather ‘the opposite of posh’.

Pompom42 · 09/06/2018 10:55

I know an adult named Verity and everyone calls her 'V' which I assume is her choice.

Not sure about Kayla, will it just be shortened to Kay?

Waverley is cute and different but would depend on your surname

adoggymama · 09/06/2018 11:01

Not a fan of them tbh, but since these are your options (and you'll have to just accept some people won't like the name Wink) I'd go with Waverley.

Verity- too ageing to me.
Kayla- sounds like a dogs name.

Congratulations! X
