Hey all ,

We have Finally picked a Baby Girl name Aria
Tho we are stuck for the middle names. We wanted to honnor my grandmother with her name Sarah but Aria Sarah doesn't really flow does that look silly ? .Also my partner now really wants to use the second name we had Which was Evie as the middle name instead Aria Evie which I'm not sure about last name ends in said sound . Any thoughts would be great ? 😀

Aria Evie doesn't work for me, and Aria Eve would be said as Are ya Reeve.
Sorry I'm not really keen on Aria, but I like Evie a lot.
How about Sarah Evie or Evie Sarah. Both very popular names but that's because they're nice.

YerAuntFanny · 31/05/2018 23:59

I prefer Evie to Sarah or Aria.

Aria Sarah flows better than Aria Evie but tbh middle names don't get used much so I wouldn't overthink it if you love it.

My daughter's first and middle name don't flow well at all but it means something to me so I'm fine with it.

TimeToDash · 01/06/2018 00:44

Neither of those flow well - with Aria I'd avoid another 'ah' name afterwards, or another 3-syllable name. Maybe go for single syllable? . What about Aria Grace?

TimeToDash · 01/06/2018 00:45

Def wouldn't go for another vowel-starting name either - but if a mouthful

Cosmoa · 01/06/2018 06:29

Aria Lily would be nice!

Flamingosnbears · 01/06/2018 07:50

How about Aria Eve? they go well together in my opinion

Jj2431 · 01/06/2018 11:26

Aria Sadie? Sadie is a pet name for Sarah

EllenJanethickerknickers · 01/06/2018 11:29

Are you pronouncing Aria as Arry a or Are ya? I prefer the first pronunciation and it might make a difference to which middle names go well.

Kiaa · 01/06/2018 14:07

It would be pronouced Are-ee-uh

I'm in the minority I think, but since middle names are barely ever used, I don't think it matters too much. People get really hung up about it, but I couldn't even tell you any of my DC's friends' middles names.

On a general note, just use the names you like. Once the whole 'what's your baby called?' stuff is over, you'll probably only say the names together about ten times a year Grin

Kiaa · 01/06/2018 15:08

Yeah that's probably true. Just worried it will look & sound silly .I also feel bad if we don't honour grandmothers name & to say no to my partner since I would prefer to keep Evie as a back up name if we ever had another girl since it was hard to find & agree on a girl name we liked.

Love Sarah.

bridgetreilly · 01/06/2018 17:35

Aria Evie Sarah.

Misshoneybear · 01/06/2018 17:43

Maybe Aria Evelyn or Aira Eve

auntyflonono · 01/06/2018 18:01

Aria Evelyn Sarah
Aria Elizabeth Sarah
Aria Adelaide Sarah

daisypond · 02/06/2018 10:22

I don't like Evie. Sarah is really nice so I'd go for that. I think Aria Sarah is fine - it is a little cumbersome, I'll give you that, but it's less of a mouthful than Aria Evie.

TheMythicalChicken · 02/06/2018 10:24

Where did you get the name Aria from? I have never heard it before...

daisypond · 02/06/2018 10:28

Aria is a musical term and can be used as a name as well. It's mentioned quite often here.

TheMythicalChicken · 02/06/2018 10:30

Ah, OK.

MikeUniformMike · 02/06/2018 13:36

Di Are-ee-uh.
