Brother or Sister for our Aurelia

We are expecting a brother or sister for our little Aurelia. Our list currently looks like this... any opinions/ suggestions welcome!

I think that Beatrix and Frederick go best. I also have to second pp's suggestions of Vivienne and Valentina, which pair lovely alongside Aurelia (more so than any of the other girls' names on your list imo). Some other boys names suggestions that would go lovely are Tristan, Alexander, Leonardo (Leo), Julian, Elias, Matthew, Rufus, Fabian, Enrico and Nicholas.

Frederick or Edward for a boy.

Beatrix (but I prefer Beatrice) for a girl.

Avoid another girl’s name beginning or ending in “a”.

I like Xanthe and Edward best from your lists. I second Vivienne as PP - goes lovely with Aurelia. Just as pretty

Frederick and Edward are my favourites. Have you considered Hector? I think it would be fab with Aurelia.

Of the girls, Xanthe would be my choice.

Hector has an unfortunate meaning (to hector) and might end up shortened as Heck

Thanks ladies! It's nice to see what others think before we broach the subject with friends and family. Ooh Cory is a good NN suggestion! Hadn't thought of that! 👍 My husband likes Hector too, I thought the same about it becoming Heck and not too sure.. Lovely name though!

I don't like any of the below names especially rydian because it reminds me of the person on X factor a few years ago.

Veronica is a kind of joke name. I think Roald Dahl killed it with Verruca Salt.

Much prefer Beatrice to Beatrix. Like Cordelia and Beatrice best.

How about Viola, Cecilia, Venetia?

Like Frederick and Edward a lot, Hector is good too. The other boys names are chavvy and/or don’t go with Aurelia.

Oh I'm pleasantly suprised that Edward and Cordelia are so well received, they are probably my favourites! Thanks so much to everyone that has taken the time to leave an opinion - it's very helpful and much appreciated!
