Sophronia · 28/05/2018 22:54

Love it.

IggyAce · 28/05/2018 22:58

Love it, it is ds middle name only because we couldn't agree on nn.
It has lots of nn to choose from: Al, Alex, Lex, sandy, Xander.

Stansmith01 · 28/05/2018 23:01

I love it too! If I ever have a son it’d be my first choice

haverhill · 28/05/2018 23:03

Love it and have one myself. Classic and slightly cool.

RebeccaWrongDaily · 28/05/2018 23:03

i think it's really dull. Sorry.

Bear2014 · 28/05/2018 23:06

We have one and we love it. Loads of really positive comments from everyone and it really suits him.

ObiJuanKenobi · 28/05/2018 23:06

Love it but now reminds me of baby Alexander from Peppa Pig

hopingforhappiness · 28/05/2018 23:07

Love it.

catweasel44 · 29/05/2018 06:52

It's nice but there were 7 in my son's year at one point, out of 60.

Usuallytootiredbuthappyanyway · 29/05/2018 07:05

Sasha/Sascha is also a nickname that comes from Alexander, lots of options as pp says

Footofthestairs · 29/05/2018 07:12

Love it. I have one Grin Only come across one other at primary school.

MrsMrsMrsMrs · 29/05/2018 07:25

We seem to have lots of Alexanders at our naiccceee primary school, though mostly known as Xander (Zander or Zarrrndar - depending on how posh the parents are). It's also a family middle name of ours.

mrsnec · 29/05/2018 07:33

Yes I love it too. Dh vetoed it and I have no idea why.

Flamingosnbears · 29/05/2018 07:35

Wonderful name, can't go wrong with itWink.

JellyTeapot · 29/05/2018 08:03

Love it - I have an Alexander, nn Alex. It is quite popular, we know two other Alexanders, not really a problem though.

FairfaxAikman · 29/05/2018 08:05

While I do love it and it was on the shortlist for DS it's just far too popular for me.

sonnyboo · 29/05/2018 08:18

Alex is very popular for both boys and girls at our school. Personally I'd choose a less common name.

CocoLoco87 · 29/05/2018 08:22

Love it!!!

Soozikinzi · 29/05/2018 08:26

Love it. I have one ,can be Alec as well yes it is common but that's because it's a strong name and so international.

Queenhoneybee · 29/05/2018 08:31

Love it. I have one. Noticed a few more of them around recently. Mine has a very unusual middle name which we also use too.

mintich · 30/05/2018 19:29

Love it!
