Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
TidyDancer · 27/05/2018 14:35

In a word, yes! Sorry!

NameChangedForThisQ · 27/05/2018 14:41

Haha I thought so Grin it is making me consider Thora though.

How abour Briar?

Acantha, Rose, Tansy, Iris, Acacia?

MaybeBabey · 27/05/2018 14:42

Thora is nice! :)

catalinablue · 27/05/2018 14:43

Sorry to say but I think so Grin

Do you like Fern/Ferne? It sounds somewhat similar but is a much prettier and more established name than Thorn.

AnotherRoadsideAttraction · 27/05/2018 14:45

Thora is lovely! As is Thea.

Jj2431 · 27/05/2018 15:05

Please don't lol

robotcartrainhat · 27/05/2018 15:06

Thora is lovely! ... Thorn is a bit too out there for a first name but maybe you could slip it in as a middle name if you are really set on it?

Fifthtimelucky · 27/05/2018 15:10

Not sure about Briar, but how about Briony?

Or Holly or Rose?

PasstheStarmix · 27/05/2018 15:16

I like Thora, it’s like the female equivalent of the marvel superhero Thor.

Stillblundering · 27/05/2018 15:18

I'm often a bit dubious at way out names but I think Thorn actually sounds original and a bit cool! Thora just makes me think of Stannah stairlifts. Apologies previous posters.

PasstheStarmix · 27/05/2018 15:44

Never nears of the stairlift thingy Hmm

PasstheStarmix · 27/05/2018 15:44

heard *

Marcipex · 27/05/2018 15:45

Thora is terrible! Thorn is much nicer. I think many people will say Forn though.
Holly is a good idea.

PasstheStarmix · 27/05/2018 15:46

Thorn is awful. Makes me think of a thorny rose bush. Thora is much nicer.

Stillblundering · 27/05/2018 15:49

Thora Hird was in many stairlift adverts. Very famous in the UK for years!

Guacamoledip · 27/05/2018 15:52

I actually really like Thorn

VioletCharlotte · 27/05/2018 16:04

Weirdly, I actually like Thorn. Really don't like Thora. Thea is nice. I've googled Thorn and it says it's a boys name, but I like it better for a girl.

bridgetreilly · 27/05/2018 16:13

I like Thora or Briar. Thorn sounds like it would be better on a boy.

Vitalogy · 27/05/2018 16:17

Yeah I'd go for it.

keepingbees · 27/05/2018 16:18

Could it be Fawn or is that worse?

I had a vivid dream about my dd just before she was born, it was an unusual name but suited her. I liked it but was worried it was a bit out-there. I kind of regret not using it.

ellalouise90 · 27/05/2018 17:15

Thorne is a pretty name and so unique!
You could consider if you are not fully set on Thorne
Thorna
Thora
Theodora
Thea

ineedamoreadultieradult · 27/05/2018 17:18

Thorne is a not particularly pleasant part of Doncaster. There must be a Scandinavia type name similar you could use, I can only think of Thor and Torren but they are boys names.

LadyPug · 27/05/2018 18:08

Thora means thunder doesn’t it? And last night there was an epic thunderstorm!

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 27/05/2018 18:34

Briar is a lovely suggestion.
