Thoughts on our lists

Not got very far yet, both lists contain a lot of popular names which I’m not keen on, any less popular suggestions would be appreciated !

I love Maeve and Gabriella, none of the boys names jump out at me

Issac is on my shortlist I love Rory too but unfortunately it doesn't work with our surname.

My boys' names are very different though so I can't help there.

Girls:
Lucy - meh
Poppy - bit weak and wet
Jasmine - beautiful
Rose - I like it. Also like Rosa as a pp suggested.
Maeve - nice
May - rarely see this as a first name, it's always a filler middle. It's ok. I'm not wild about it.
Gabriella - nice. I'm not keen on anything Ella though, there's just too many of them.
Emma - meh
Esme - ok
Eva / Eve - noooo. Way too over used and bland.
Erin - name for Irish-Americans, no.

Boys:
Rory - ok
Max - no, boring
Miles - no
Casper - the friendly ghost.
Calvin - Klein. I do like it though!
Teddy (Theodore) - I like Teddy with Edward, not a Theodore fan at all.
Jake - fine
Noah - meh, bland and boring
Zachary - like this a lot
Ezra - like it a lot
Isaac - nice

Gabriella and Noah are my favourites.

I like jasmine, rose and esme on the girls list. Lucy is quite nice too.
On the boys list I like Jake and Max

Gabrilelle is elegant, so much nicer than Gabriella which just sounds a bit of a mouthful.
Lucy is lovely.

I like most of your names. I particularly like Rose or May as first names. I know they're quite popular as middle names where they can appear a bit as a filler name, but I don't get that impression when they're used as first names. They have a classic simplicity about them that I like. I like Lucy as well as Gabriella. I'm less keen on Eve/Eva and I really don't like Esme.

For boys, I really like Miles and Rory. I like Max, but only as a short form for something longer. Similarly with Jake, though I'm not wild about Jacob. Casper is OK. I don't like Ezra at all.
