Do you love your DCs names?

We have picked a name for our son but I don’t love it. I don’t love any boys names at all so kind of think we will just settle on this name as it’s the only one we both like. It’s a nice name, just doesn’t really excite me. Did you love your children’s names when you picked them or grow to love them once they were assigned to a real life person?

DS name isn't my favourite, which was vetoed by DH, but it's pretty damn close.

My absolute favorite girls name didn’t work with my husbands surname, as it would be the same as a cartoon character and would have meant a lifetime of people sniggering at it, but I love the name we picked instead, it’s a name I wouldn’t have even considered and isn’t very popular but my husband saw it in a baby naming book and we both instantly knew that was the one.
