What do you think? A sister for Isabelle.

I love it, was my first choice but dh vetoed it!

MikeUniformMike · 24/05/2018 14:30

Yes. Why not. It's popular but so is Isabel(le).

PandaCat · 24/05/2018 14:39

I love it!

Peachbubble · 24/05/2018 15:25

One of my favourite names.

starkid · 24/05/2018 15:29

I wouldn't say Elodie is popular, it's outside the top 100.
I like it and think they go well together :) I mentioned it to a lady at work the other day and she'd never heard it before.

DramaAlpaca · 24/05/2018 15:35

It's lovely & goes very well with Isabelle.

MinisterforCheekyFuckery · 24/05/2018 16:57

I think it's lovely and she has the option of shortening to Elle or Ellie if she wants. I wanted to put it on our list but DH wasn't keen.

FoxyBoxter · 24/05/2018 16:58

Perfect together! Go for it. Smile

ellalouise90 · 24/05/2018 17:03

This name is so pretty!

Pudding01 · 24/05/2018 17:03

Very pretty Smile

HeyDolly · 24/05/2018 17:53

I love it. It was only my list but my only concern was that it might get shortened to Elle or Ellie which I don’t like - that’s the only reason it was vetoed

Eminybob · 24/05/2018 17:54

Love it! It is going to be this baby’s name if it turns out to be a girl.

pickledmommy · 24/05/2018 17:55

Love it

Thirtyrock39 · 24/05/2018 17:58

I'm still regretting not insisting on Elodie for second dd- made the mistake of telling dh it was a name I'd seen on a character in DocusoapThe Hills and he vetoed it but it's a gorgeous name

Glumglowworm · 24/05/2018 19:47

I really like it

I know lots of girls aged 7-teenager because I’m a Brownie and Guide leader, I’ve not had an Elodie in the whole five years I’ve been doing it! Had countless Isabelle/Isabel/Isabella/Isobel though!

17caterpillars1mouse · 24/05/2018 19:55

I'm not a fan but can see why do any like it. It is pretty just not for me

RainbowCookie · 24/05/2018 19:58

It’s a lovely name, but a girl I work with is called Elodie and everyone shortens it to Elo which sounds a bit like a teletubby

foxycleopauper · 24/05/2018 19:58

Lovely! Smile

FriendlyGhost · 24/05/2018 20:09

Beautiful name. I had more to say but sent you a pm to avoid outing myself!
