Name for Amelie’s sister

Hi everyone,

My DH and I are struggling to find a name for our little girl and would appreciate some name suggestions that we may not have thought of! I lean towards more traditional names but DH prefers more unique names (DD1 would have been Amelia but DH felt this was too popular when she was born in 2015).

We are open to any suggestions, our surname begins with an m so probably want to avoid m names.

Thanks for your help!

I actually know four little Amelies! Each has a sister and no brothers - weird huh. Must be a ‘girl family’ name! Anyway... Their sisters are Tabitha, Florence, Matilda and Isabelle.

Zoe is nice, though seems a little dull next to Amelie imo.

Some that I think sound gorgeous:
Charlotte and Amelie
Bronte and Amelie
Saskia and Amelie
Alexandra (nn Sasha) and Amelie
Mirabella and Amelie
Juliet and Amelie

My favourite pairings would have to be Mirabella and Amelie, or Juliet and Amelie though. :) Both Juliet and Mirabella are pretty and elegant, but more unique than the likes of Isabelle/Sophie/Isla type names iyswim.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I love Florence and Clara but DH thinks they are old lady names :(
We both like Esme but I'm worried about pronunciation issues.
We both like Juliet too but have a close family member with the name so feel we can't use it.
Ironically we decided almost straight away on a boy's name!
Do most other couples have this much trouble agreeing on a name Grin
