Boy or girl name in your opinion?

Neither, it's a place name.

LexieLulu · 20/05/2018 22:13

It's the male presenter person off celebs go dating GrinBlush I don't know any in RL

donkey86 · 20/05/2018 22:15

I know one of each but when I hear the name I think female first (though mainly because the female Eden I know is a grown woman and the male is a baby boy).

claret3189 · 20/05/2018 22:17

Love this and thought of this myself for a girl

Mountainsoutofmolehills · 20/05/2018 22:20

either. i think its such a great name. i am surprised it isn't popular. use it what ever you have. it's great.

Manymanyavocados · 20/05/2018 22:20

I know both a male and a female Eden.

aroomwithaperfectview · 20/05/2018 22:44

Boy's but does it matter? The only Eden I know of is the one from Jalna, the Whiteoaks Chronicles I borrowed from my mum's bookcase when I was a teenager. For me it's classic and romantic and suits both genders.

Marcipex · 20/05/2018 23:06

I know two girls and one middle aged man.

ladybirdsaredotty · 20/05/2018 23:09

Love it. Girl for me, but know it can be either. I've never heard it pronounced 'Ee-din' though, only with a schwa, like 'Ee-dun'. We thought about it for DD2, but called her another E-name which we shorten to Edie Smile

TuTru · 21/05/2018 07:26

Either in my mind but I only know a girl of that name so far in my life.

ellalouise90 · 21/05/2018 18:29

Girls! I absolutely love this for a girl ... so pretty

MikeUniformMike · 21/05/2018 18:54

It will get shortened to Ede.

boy

meditrina · 21/05/2018 19:39

Boy, if you are in UK

Unless you are a fan of the 80s American daytime soap, Santa Barbara, where it was famously used For a womanl (and Cruz, the traditional girls name used on a male character). I think it was a deliberate joke.

GottaGetThisDone · 21/05/2018 21:36

I know 2 female Edens and 1 male, but i feel it is more a female name

Pemba · 22/05/2018 02:01

It's unisex, but I think suits girls more.
