4th boy baby name!

Like Kit/Kitt but would like him to have a longer name but one that starts with K-I-T e.g Kitson. Anyone got anything??

(Siblings are Archer, Rafferty and Farran)

Thanks! Xx

Kit is a nn for Christopher

Tansytaylor · 18/05/2018 13:31

Well it's short for Christopher
If you can't think of a name you like that immediately springs to mind, then don't make one up. Just call him Kit

haverhill · 18/05/2018 13:35

Kit is an old nn for Christopher, e.g. Kit Marlowe. I think a lot of people will just assume he is a Christopher.

Flippetydip · 18/05/2018 13:36

I love love love the shortening Kit for Christopher. If FIL hadn't been called Christopher we would have gone with it.

Mountainsoutofmolehills · 18/05/2018 13:38

St. Kitts is a shoretening for Christopher. it's a carribean tax haven. Kitt is as good enough to name an incredibly beautiful island. I wouldn't think Kitson or Kitwell or Kitillian is necessary. Plenty of people get called an official name and then have a nickname that everyone knows is their called name, if you feel it is too short. Once you've got used to the name you want others will too. Don't feel shy.

Kitchen?

It’s short for Christopher so maybe call him that?

KirstenRaymonde · 18/05/2018 15:19

Please don’t call him Kitson Confused

SnowOnTheSeine · 18/05/2018 15:20

Kitchener

Joeybee · 18/05/2018 15:28

Obviously it's usually short for Christopher. You could spell Christopher with a K. Only other name I can think of is Kitch or Kitchener.

I guess he could be Christian or Cristiano or something, just as easily as Christopher.

Kitto is a Cornish name.

SeekEveryEveryKnownHidingPlace · 18/05/2018 17:39

Like they said - it's short for Christopher. Anything else, you'd have to make up yourself. Kitbert?

Jammiebammie · 18/05/2018 17:40

I know a Kester who gets called Kit (although I think Kester is actually a nn for Christopher too)
I can’t think of any boys names beginning with ‘kit’ that don’t sound daft. Either use it on its own or as an abbreviation of Christopher/Christian

Theducksarenotmyfriends · 18/05/2018 17:42

What about it ending in kit? Like Beckett for example?

Pythonesque · 18/05/2018 17:43

I was going to suggest Kitchener too - it's pretty non-standard but might work well with your set.
