Really struggling for a name!

YoumeandlittleP · 12/05/2018 17:07

I am due any day and am no further on for deciding on a name than I was pre pregnancy. We are having a boy.

We already have a girl who's name begins with P and her name was very easy to decide on. In fact I find girls names easier in general - total opposite with DC2.

Names on our list have been:

Otto
Milo
Alfred
Sebastian
Henry

Can anyone help with anymore suggestions please? It's really starting to stress me out that nothing seems to feel right.

There's a really cool character called Sebastian (Bash) in a series called Reign.

He's smart, charming, resourseful, sensible and handsome.

Good name.

Amyas (pronounced Am-ee-yass) Knew one...top bloke and only one I've come across. A bit of info: The name Amyas is a French baby name. In French the meaning of the name Amyas is: From the Old French name derived from Latin 'amatus' meaning loved. In use since at least the 12th century. Used by 19th century British writer Charles Kingsley for the hero of his novel 'Westward Ho!'.

I love Sebastian and Milo. How about Miles, Seth, Finley, Toby, Piers?

IwantedtobeEmmaPeel · 12/05/2018 18:35

I knew a Sebastian, he was gorgeous, kind and intelligent, that may be swaying me, but I love the name. Also like Henry, Harry, Toby, Finlay, James and Guy.

YoumeandlittleP · 12/05/2018 19:17

I read that OP earlier - bizarre to say the least!

Also really like:

Etienne
Ivor

But feel that they're too pretentious if you don't have links to the countries? Am I over thinking?

Both Etienne and Ivor are lovely. I don't think you need to have a connection to the country. No one has asked us why we have called DS XYZ. Isn't Etienne a band?

DS is 6yo and some of his friends are:
Martin
Bernard
Kevin
Nathanial
Unax
Ferran (like the chef Ferran Adria)
Eric
Henry
Marcel
Aimar
Sergi
Pol
Iago (from Santiago)
Leon
Felix
Simon
Thomas

Adrian
