Honestly I think 2000s primrose Hill set a la Sadie frost

Was trendy around 15yr ago now dated

Modern equivalents are Arlo, Grayson

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 09/05/2018 22:19

Love it

Tartyflette · 09/05/2018 22:19

Bit too try-hard.
Also you'll look like you're copying some celebs.

Tansie1 · 09/05/2018 22:24

Too try-hard.

Can't get Raphael, either, unless you have strong say Spanish links. But then, I struggle with recent cultural appropriation regarding names.

inisfree · 09/05/2018 22:28

Rafferty was an Irish poet from Mayo.

Ginger1982 · 09/05/2018 22:32

Rafe probably better.

NeepNeepNeep · 09/05/2018 22:35

Nope.

Mymadworld · 09/05/2018 22:37

Love Rafi (& know a very cool 13 yr old Rafi) but not keen on rafferty.

Pebblespony · 09/05/2018 22:39

@inisfree Mise Raifteirì an file.... Drummed into me in school!

Buntysoven · 09/05/2018 23:21

More doggy or teddy to me. Raphael is lovely though

Mrsknackered · 10/05/2018 00:00

I like it. Love Raphael though

Peach2018 · 10/05/2018 06:13

I love it! I love names that are a little bit unusual! We had a name for our first son we loved but didn't end up calling him it due to other people's opinion and now we both really regret not going with it.

DaphneFanshaw · 10/05/2018 06:17

I love it.

LastNightsMakeUp · 10/05/2018 07:16

I love it. I don't understand the 'try hard' factor here. Although maybe 'try hard' is my style 🤷‍♀️

TuTru · 10/05/2018 07:17

I love it!

madeyemoodysmum · 10/05/2018 07:17

Too common round here a raffy in every class now.

TuTru · 10/05/2018 07:19

Raphael not so much

bookworm14 · 10/05/2018 07:21

Trendy celeb name that no one was interested in until Jude Law used it for his son.

SellFridges · 10/05/2018 07:25

I love it.

RavenWings · 10/05/2018 07:27

I think it's terrible.

I know one, she is 8 now and a lovely girl. I think it is a nice name!

IJustHadToNameChange · 10/05/2018 07:35

It's an Irish surname. No.

ScreamingValenta · 10/05/2018 07:36

I think of this:

Carouselfish · 10/05/2018 09:58

I like it, my dog is called Raffles and was nearly Rafferty. I think it's lovely for humans too!
