Which girl name?

Hi everyone, so i think these are my final two girl name choices:
Summer or Violet.
Which one do you prefer and why? TIA!

I prefer Summer, it's very pretty. Violet reminds me of Violent.

Violet for me

Violet. I can't say why I prefer it though.
However Summer is still very pretty and if you can't decide between the 2. I'd go with Summer as a first name and Violet as mn as it goes, lovely wereas Violet Summer doesn't really roll off the tongue.

Oh, I was supposed to say why. Violet because it's pretty and classic and not over used. Summer is a bit hippie ish in my mind. Not sure why.

Summer, but only if she's a summer baby. My mum has a January birthday and she's called June!

Summer. Like a pp, Violet makes me think of violent.

Violet is lovely. To me Summer doesn't sound like a proper name.

Violet. It's a pretty name and more unusual than Summer (in my area anyway - appreciate this varies regionally).

However, if she doesn't have a sunny disposition then it's going to be painful for her.

Summer Violet sounds like the name of a species of flower.

Summer, but only if she's born in the summer. I also can't shake the violet/violent connection.
