Sylvie Elise

Think we’re finally set on the name Sylvie for DD.

DH loves the name Elise for a first name but I’m not in love with it, however I think we could compromise and maybe use as a middle name.

Do you like the combination? Or is it too French?

I love it. We are also thinking Sylvie or Sylvia. But the latter reminds me too much of Sylvia Plath which is a bit sad. I don’t think you can be too French.

Lovee the name Elise! Prefer Elise to Sylvie to be honest. However, I do think Sylvie Elise sounds lovely.

I find it a bit of a mouthful, tbh. The Eee-Eh combination when you say them together is tricky. But the names are very pretty.

I'd much rather be called Elise than Sylvie

It doesn't roll of the tongue easily imo. Sylvia is less twee.
