Advice on boy names please. What name is your favourite?

Sean
Jack
Kieran
Reuben

Cameron will be the middle name.

Cameron as a middle name is quite long, so I'd go for a shorter first name. Jack Cameron is lovely.

No I don't think Jack Cameron goes - it's two c sounds which makes it hard to say.

Sean Cameron sounds too close to Sean Connery (IMO)

I am also not keen on them both ending in the same sound (-un), so Theo wins for me.

In order of preference...

Theo - like, particularly with Theodore as full name
Sean - good name, not overused
Reuben - I like this, but not sure it goes well with Cameron as they're both 2 syllables ending in n.
Jack - was no.1 boy's name for years but I'm not very keen
Kieran - OK, but prefer Ciaran spelling, and it's too matchy with your surname

I love Reuben.
Theo's quite nice as well

Really dislike the other three but I think that's mostly because they're very popular names in my age group and none of the ones I've known have been particularly pleasant.

  1. Kieran (but using Ciaran instead).
  2. Jack
  3. Sean - don't hear the Sean connery esque sound at all.
  4. Theo
  5. Reuben

Sean - I quite like it. It's unusual these days
Jack - I like it
Kieran - I really like Kieran but Kieran Cameron just doesn't work
Reuben - same issue as above for me
