What do you think of Denby?

For boy or girl? I think it sounds like a Made in Chelsea character but I don't hate it

Honestly I think plates. It's not a name to me. But if you love it go for it.

I think it sounds like a valet or a Jane Austen character. Either “Denby, pack the valise, we’re off to Monte Carlo” or “Denby, you cad, how could you string Miss Eleanor along when all along you were engaged to Lady Maria?”

Excellent choice for a dinner service.

I think it would be a hard name to live with honestly.

I hear it as Denbigh. It'll be shortened to Den, which may or may not be ok.

It just reminds me of Denby dale pies！

Sounds like Denby, but has the added benefit of not being pottery.

I live in Derbyshire so my first thought is the village... and then the plates.

The factory shop does a rubbish scone. That’s not relevant, but I suppose a heads up for anyone in the area...
