Holly or tilly middle name (need help please)

Thinking of calling my second girl either holly or Tilly. Need help with a middle name.

My first child is Chloe mae, so I don’t want to reuse either of those names, or anything that sounds similar (no ray, Fay, Rae,may).

My surname is Turton, so I don’t want initials that are:

TIT, TAT, HOT, HIT, HRT, or anything else dodgy.

Please help with suggestions.

Tilly Turton is cool.

Wow. That was unhelpful

Sorry, couldn't resist. I do like Tilly Turton. Holly is nice but a bit christmassy. I also like Polly.
I think I'd go for a pretty middle name like Abigail and TAT is ok, or you could use Matilda as BC name and use Tilly as a known as name.
Matilda Holly is Ok but Tilly Holly is too much.

redmini4 · 27/04/2018 17:07

I think Holly goes better with Chloe. Maybe Elizabeth, Grace, June type middle name. Although I really like Tilly Turton but I like alliteration.

Marcipex · 27/04/2018 18:03

Holly, it's much nicer than Tilly.

Holly Grace Turton is lovely and the initials don’t spell anything!

ifigoup · 27/04/2018 18:14

Holly Ann Turton (spells HAT but you could even call her Hattie as a nickname!)
Holly Ruth Turton (HRT, but don’t suppose any kids would know what that was!)
Holly Faith Turton
Holly Jean Turton
Holly Kate Turton
Holly Anya Turton

I think Tilly Jane sounds lovely. Much prefer Tilly over Holly too, you hear it much less

KanyeWesticle · 27/04/2018 18:42

(Tilly Turton is fab!)

Baubletrouble43 · 27/04/2018 19:47

Hate the name Tilly, sounds clunky and frumpy. Holly is so much prettier, and suits an adult as well, which I don't think Tilly does.
I second Holly Grace Turton, sounds gorgeous!

Tilly is a cat's name.

Holly Joy Turton.

LoveInTokyo · 28/04/2018 12:02

Holly is lovely. I like it with a one syllable middle name like Grace, Kate, Jane, Jean, Rose etc.

Tilly Turton sounds ridiculous IMO.

RavenWings · 28/04/2018 12:10

Call her Holly. Tilly is weak and insipid, and it sounds a bit ridiculous storybook character esque with Turton.

Holly Marie Turton
Holly Sophia Turton
Holly Elizabeth Turton
Holly Rain Turton
Holly Carina Turton
Holly Diane Turton
Holly Renee Turton

Jedigirl29 · 28/04/2018 15:39

Instead of just Tilly what about Matilda and you can use Tilly as a Nn
