Is Arthur too similar? I know it's now no1 choice for royal baby but we've had it on our list for weeks, just not sure if it sounds too samey...

I don't think it is too similar, and funnily enough when I saw "Alfie" my first thought was "Arthur" (second was Michael!) but might it be a problem having two Master A Surnames in the family?

Alfred and Arthur is ok imo.

They're fine together

mondler · 23/04/2018 18:42

I think they go really well together as long as you're happy to have both starting with the same letter (just thinking practicality wise for post etc).

I think that they are a little too similar. Also it could be tricky with post and stuff, sharing an initial.

Other suggestions: -

Alfie and Jake
Alfie and Ferdinand nn Ferdie
Alfie and Troy
Alfie and Steven

Alfie and Noah
Alfie and Oscar
Alfie and Terry
Alfie and Max
