Longish boys’ names

Our baby is due in a few weeks and I’m struggling with boys’ names. Lots of ideas for girls. Our surname is one syllable and problematic with some names (as it sounds like ‘pain’). So some of my favourites are out: William (willy pain), Cameron (campaign), Maximilian (max pain). I think one-syllable first names sound a bit too harsh with our surname.

DD is Susanna. I like the nickname options and the fact it’s classic but not too commonplace. Also I think the 3 syllables balance well with a short surname. Please can I have some boys’ names inspiration?

I absolutely love some of these, thank you.

Frederick - is it really popular at the moment? Same with Theodore?
Fabian - sounds French, would it work ok in the UK?
Conrad - really like this, but would he get called Connie?
Raymond - don’t know if I’m brave enough but love the idea of a little Ray.

I fear Frederick is very popular in the uk at the moment. Great name tough! Theodore is less common.

Fabian is an English name, it's spelt Fabien in French. Edith Nesbit's son was called Fabian if I remember correctly.

I like Conrad and Raymond too.

I know a 4 year old Ray if that helps. It really suits him and I like it.

Frederick does seem to be gaining popularity along with just Freddie. Theodore is very popular at least here (I know more Theodore's than Oliver's)

I like Conrad and don't imagine it will be shortened to Connie. Do you like Cormac I always think it's similar to Conrad
