Baby name Kaitlyn or Katerina?

Which name do you like more? Is Katerina too unusual?

Katerina

Katerina is lovely, not keen on Kaitlyn, however it's spelt.

Caitlin and Catriona are both lovely.

They are TheDowagerCuntess, and I'd say they are much nicer than Kaitlyn and Katerina.

I prefer Kaitlyn, of those two, although I do love the name Catherine.

I've also seen Katelyn which I think is a pretty spelling.

If I had to choose I'd go with Katelyn. Although I do like Katrina rather than Katerina.
I know it's not on this list but I love Katrine

Despite the similarities, the images these two names conjure up are very different!
Katerina makes me picture a graceful Russian or Eastern European ballerina, while Kaitlyn is a loud, bratty American Kardashian wannabe!

Katerina is fabulous, with Katya, Kaisa, Kajsa or Katinka as short forms depending on which countries version you like.
Kaitlyn, just no. So Wrong.

Mis-spelt celtic names are chavvy. The correct spelling is Caitlin.

My DD's middle name is Katerina after her grandmother. I like it.

Caitlin is lovely but not when misspelled. Katerina is nice especially if you are mainland European. I prefer Catriona though, personally.
