What name could have the nickname Pixie?

Really liking Pixie for a first name, but not sure if its a bit much? Is there anything that Pixie could be a nickname for?

My grandmother was nicknamed Pixie. Her real name was Theresa > Trixie > Pixie. I suppose it’s similar to Mary > Molly > Polly, though that’s a very established route. I wouldn’t call a child Pixie as a given name.

I love Pixie as a name, and would go for it! if I had a 3rd daughter thar would have been top of my list.

My niece is called Pixie, she's 14 and absolutely loves her name. If you love it as a name, why not just go for it?

The pixie I know is Nicola and it started as Nix/Nixie Pixie

Don't use it as her real name as its too cutesty , I know loads of people with nicknames that have nothing to do with their names... if you want a vague link something like Beatrice would work x

It’s why nick names evolve - they suit the person. I don’t think you can go straight in with a nick name like pixie. Of my teens Dd2 would totally rock a quirky name dd1 who is quieter academic under the radar type would be absolutely mortified.
