So very early days pregnant and have been discussing names. We have decided on Irish first name with an African middle name.

Bláthnaid Neba
Fiachra Che

The Irish names are pretty certain but there is still discussion on the African name.

Any suggestions on nice simple African names ?

I can't vouch for the accuracy of any of this, but it purports to be a list of Cameroonian names.

Love Bláthnaid and Fiachra.

@mathanxiety thank you so much for that link. Himself has being suggesting name but ones that imo don't have naturally sounding letter combinations.

I hope you can find something. When I looked through it I saw several names that I really liked.

Che is going to make people think you named him after Guevara.

I love Fiachra. Blathnaid I'm a bit meh on, and I'm not sure on pronunciation of Neba but I do like how it looks when written.

TinyPawz · 08/04/2018 04:27

@RavenWings that is the reason I kind of like Che.

Neba is pronounce NEE ba.

Ah, nee ba is what I was guessing! I think it fits nicely with Blathnaid.

Well, if you like the Che association then that works out fine. I don't like him personally and think he's a bit of a stereotypical student icon.
