Would love some opinions....Which is everyone’s favourite on the short list.

Dorothy - nn Dora or Dottie
Meredith - nn Meri or Edie
Ottilie - Ottie
Florence
Iris

Orla

Nancy.

Florence is pretty, reminds me of Florence and the Machine. Orla is okay (Again, Isla is nicer). Dorothy, Meredith, Iris and Nancy sound very frumpy to me. And I imagine a little girl called Ottilie being teased terribly and nicknamed otter.

Dorothy - I really like Dorothy nn Dot or Dotty
Meredith - love Meredith, prefer without a nn. Not a fan of Meri but like Edie
Ottilie - Ottie - like Ottilie not so sure on Ottie. Prefer Ottoline
Florence - love but it's so popular here
Iris - i really like Iris. It keeps growing on md
Nancy - really dislike it.
Orla - pretty sound but inagibe prone to autocorrect mistakes

Thanks everyone for the opinions! Seems a mixed bag, I’m loving Meredith, Dottie, Iris and Nacy the most. Ottilie seems to be a bit of a marmite name which I kind of expected. Just need to get DH to warm to Iris as I love it but he sadly doesn’t!
