Can't decide between:

Harriet
Lydia
Tabitha
Matilda

"we've narrowed it down to Matilda and Lydia."

From those I'd go for Lydia.

slippynips · 30/03/2018 12:07

Lydia all the way, it is not over used and less pretentious than Matilda in my opinion

ChocolateBubbleBarsmakemefat · 30/03/2018 12:09

Harriet then Lydia

MikeUniformMike · 30/03/2018 14:06

Harriet - popular. Hattie is nice for a nn
Lydia - Lyds. No
Tabitha - Ok
Matilda - Nice but too popular.

  1. Lydia. Lovely
  1. Harriet/Tabitha, both nice. There is the Beatrix Potter association from Tabitha of course (Mrs Tabitha Twitchet?) but I guess that doesn't matter.
  1. Matilda. OK but a little meh to me, and there are lots around at the moment.
Lemurville · 23/09/2018 08:18

Lydia over Matilda any day. Prefer Tabitha out of the 4 though

Ozgirl01 · 23/09/2018 09:41

They're all nice, but my favourites are Harriet and Matilda.

moredoll · 23/09/2018 09:43

Matilda

thethoughtfox · 23/09/2018 09:52

Harriet. Lydia will be forever called Teapot. The others are gorgeous but super popular.

Narya · 23/09/2018 09:53

Harriet

AuntieStella · 23/09/2018 09:53

Lovely names OP!

I'd choose Tabitha

Jeffingandeffing · 23/09/2018 09:56

Harriet for me!

n0ne · 23/09/2018 09:59

Lydia
Matilda
Tabitha
Harriet, in that order

All lovely names

MollyHuaCha · 23/09/2018 10:13

Er, this thread is really old...

MikeUniformMike · 23/09/2018 13:06

Harriet - no1, prefer Matilda but it's too popular and I'm not keen on the nns. Hattie is nice for a nn.
Lydia - Lyds, rhymes with chamydia so 4
Tabitha - bit too twee for me - 3
Matilda - too popular - 2

17caterpillars1mouse · 23/09/2018 13:07
