Absolutely love it. Was in my top 2 for DS although we went with the other option in the end. Go for it! Smile

Good name, love the song as well you'll have a built in lullaby when baby's born.

I guess my concern is that it feels a bit, I dunno, short maybe? Is it a popular name where you live? I’ve only ever taught one

I love it. I only know one and she’s in her 30’s.

User27839494 · 27/03/2018 11:48

Sorry PinkAvocado I should have said, for a boy.

I know no boys with it but I too only think of it as a boy’s name despite that! I wasn’t clear-I think it is lovely as a boy’s name and not used a lot but still familiar (probably due to the Beatles!).

I only know of one Jude and he's one of my daughters best friends...lovely name

jellycat1 · 27/03/2018 12:05

Love it. Know two and they're both cuties.

witheringnights · 27/03/2018 12:14

Love it- was on list for our first, but in the end it was our second that got it!
@ladybirdsaredotty so curious to know what your final choice was Smile

halfwitpicker · 27/03/2018 12:19

Nice name

User27839494 · 27/03/2018 12:52

Ok, last question🙈
My grandma is called Judy...do you think it’s weird to call her grandson Jude?
My daughter is actually named after grandmas but the link between Jude and Judy was unintentional (I didn’t realise until I thought about it-blame the hormones)

Love it, it's my DS's middle name

Zaya71 · 27/03/2018 16:21

My toddler has s friend named Gene and his Grandma is Jean - it wasn't intentional but seems to work fine.

User27839494 · 27/03/2018 16:54

I don’t really want to tell family the names we have chosen but I wonder if I should run it past her before we use it incase she is horrified?lol

Seems the current choice of everybody in the midlands, just makes me think of Jude the obscure or Judas, really dislike it.
