So found our we are having another DS and I'm really keen on Gabriel nn Gabe but a lot of people don't like it Any ideas? Ty

Gabriel is a great name! It was on our list. If you and the dad love it, that's all that matters.

I just can't see any name matching up to how much I like Gabriel 😄 I did like Sebastian nn Seb but it's turning out to be quite popular!

Go for Gabriel if that's what you want, it's your baby and you can't please everyone! Other options...

Sebastian would be good as it has links to soldiers as does Milo.

Gabriel is lovely with Milo as they are both gentle sounding. I like Matteo and Magnus too.

My MIL has a dog called Cassius so that's out haha! Although he is lovely Hubby's fav is Magnus but it sounds harsh to say it out loud. I love the meaning behind names too.

Exactly, like in some areas it would be used and everyone would love it and then I think in others people are like eeew and I don't want him bullied either. But then again I don't want to just give him a common name just because other people think that's whats "normal". I think we're going to go with Gabriel and sod the haters 🙄 Thankyou for your reassurance's it's much appreciated!

My DS has a friend called Gabriel, lovely little boy! They also call him Gabe for short! Don't see why anyone would take the mick I would stick true to yourself and go for it!
