Lula/Loula is my favourite, so I'll go with Isla, which is lovely.
Sorry, I'm not a fan of Lola and Iris.

Iris again here, it's just lovely and the meaning is just wonderful second to that would be a Lula quite a whimsical name...

Lola - ok (but has “she was a showgirl...” connotations)
Iris - ok
Lula - awful
Luna - pretty

Iris - lovely
Isla - also lovely (biased) but very popular now
Lula - sounds like a nickname. Not as nice as others.
Lola - don't like much, unfortunate Lolita connotations (though I do quite like Charlie and Lola...)

actually my DN is called Lola and she's gorgeous can't believe some people judge babies off of there names! All these names are lovely, and I'm sure your child would grow up gorgeous no matter the name! Awful bunch can't get over the rudeness! sorry just personal op , my potential DD/DS will be named a quirky name , and i'd hate for people to judge me on that

Lola! But I am bias as that's my little girls name!

Isla is my favourite. Also like Iris. Don't like Lulu or Lola.

I know a Lula- her full name is Ursula, nn Lula. I think it is lovely in that context.

Op asked for opinions on the names - wanting, presumably, honest opinions otherwise pretty pointless. Don't think anyone has been rude about any of these names but it is helpful to know what kind of associations they throw up (otherwise very little point in the baby names board really!)

This is the baby names forum, the entire point of it is to critique/suggest names. No one is commenting on your niece or how gorgeous she is, that doesn't affect our view of the names in any way.

Iris is the best by far (hadn’t realised it’s meaning until PP stated, so it’s even more beautiful now)

What about Ayla (can be prounounced A-lar or I-lar) as an alternative to Isla?
