Sibling for Erin

Hi.
We're ttc baby number 2 and just having a light hearted conversation, as it took us the entire pregnancy to decide on Erin Grin

We have some names that have popped up. And just like last time, can't think of any boys names we love. Apart from me liking George!

What do you think? Or can you offer an alternative? Smile

Lucy (which was 2nd place behind Erin)
Isobel
Sophie

Tobias/Toby
George

TIA

I like something with the "y" "ie" sound at the end like you have Lucy!

Sophie
Rosie
Lucy
Josie
Daisy
Maisy

Pudding01 · 13/03/2018 18:19

I'm in agreement on the "y" "ie" sounding names I think. Apart from Isobel of course!
Erin's middle name is Rose.

Daddy's name is Daniel & he's just told me he'd like to follow the family tradition of boys having their Dad's name as a middle name... I'll try and battle that, but if I lose that limits the boys names even more! Hmm

Anton!

I like all your girl name choices, though they are quite a lot more popular than Erin. How about some less common choices:
Joan
Sadie
Mary
Lois
Juliet

Toby is cute. I'm not a huge fan of George. Other ideas:
Fergus
Jonas
Robert
Anthony

Pudding01 · 13/03/2018 18:46

Thank you :) Yes I thought that, they are popular. Obviously for a reason, but we chose Erin because it wasn't...

Anthony is nice.

Ooh I forgot to add Joshua in there as a potential. But know my OH loves Toby and I love George.

You have similar taste to me, I think. My DS is Toby, but he would have been Erin if he was a girl! My older DD is Lydia and I know someone who has an Erin, an Amelia and a George (who would have been Lydia if he was a girl!) I like all your girls’ list. What about Harriet? Or Lydia? 😉

DarkLikeVader · 13/03/2018 19:25

I like Nina as a sister for Erin! Alfie for a boy perhaps?

beela · 13/03/2018 19:57

The Erin I know has a brother called George!

FairyFantastic · 13/03/2018 20:24

Love Lucy. Don't see any reason to look at others.
Erin & Lucy
Lucy Isobel could be nice too

Hmmm boys are tricky
Erin & George
Erin & Tobias
I think maybe George looks better, but Erin & Toby look good too. Tricky. Like your choices though. Not been much help I guess but good luck!

I know siblings Abbie and Erin and always thought that goes well together. So something with an ie/y would work?
