Bear in mind the nicknames!!
Sebastian Star my fave. Seb
Oscar. Ozzy
Fergus (IMHO I prefer Fergal)
Wilfred (I like the idea of Wilf)
Hector (I'm not a huge fan of this name unless it was said in a Scottish accent to be fair-then it sounds right to me!) Nicknames for this one can be 'huck' or 'teto' oddly enough.

TheBakeryQueen · 07/03/2018 02:52

Sebastian is lovely.

No preference over the others except maybe Hector- wouldn't choose it because of its meaning.

AnyaMoondial · 07/03/2018 02:54

Wilfred - love it
Oscar
Fergus
Sebastian
Hector

MsJuniper · 07/03/2018 03:08

Really like Wilfred and Fergus. Unusual but not wacky.

Oscar was my all-time favourite boys name until it became overused.

Dislike Hector.

Sebastian is awful.

Ginandplatonic · 07/03/2018 03:19

Sebastian, Hector, Fergus, Wilfred, Oscar

FairyFantastic · 07/03/2018 05:59

Wilfred
Sebastian
Oscar
Hector - can't get around the teacher from The History Boys who fancies his pupils and cops a feel when he drops them off....
Fergus - Nope

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 07/03/2018 07:00

Fergus
Sebastian
Oscar
Hector
Dislike Wilfred.

teddyismytreasure · 07/03/2018 07:52

Thank you all so much for your replies! I still have no idea. With Dc1 I found it so easy!

My least favourite are Hector and Sebastian. I can't decide which is my favourite between Wilfred, Oscar and Fergus.

It seems that Wilfred is a bit of a marmite name though! Will show this thread to DH this evening. Smile

.
Wilfred. It's wet. A bit like Cyril.

Goosegettingfat · 07/03/2018 09:56

I think lots of you are insane- Wilfred is a gorgeous name! Op fwiw, dd2 has a rather marmite name- or at least it was till I actually used it, since then I regularly have compliments on how beautiful it is, and I think frequently how glad I am I went for a name I loved

toolazytobakeacake · 07/03/2018 21:31

Fergus

Oscar

All the others

Pompom42 · 07/03/2018 21:35

Hector
Fergus
Wilfred
Sebastian
Oscar (too popular)

FizzyGreenWater · 08/03/2018 10:17

Sebastian lovely

Oscar good, but totally different feel - popular and run-of-the-mill. But lovely.

Hector quite harsh, but ok.

Fergus - not a nice sound! Magnus is ace, however.

Don't like Wilfred - v dreary.
