Current list but none that DH and I can agree on. I don't think there's one that we both like, suggestions would be great:

Carina
Rose
Eleanor
Lara
Rhona
Elva
Ailsa

Maryam
Lorna
Mara

I like all of them except Elva.

My favourite is Eleanor.

If I was to be picky I'd say that Rose is very popular at the moment and in my experience Ailsa almost always gets mispronounced as Elsa, I don't know if either of those would bother you but just something to consider.

How about:
Allanah
Cara
Francesca
Erica
Louisa
Ciara
Keira
Naomi
Alyssa

Smoliver · 06/03/2018 19:32

Lovely list. I particularly like Carina and Eleanor.

Catherine

I like them all apart from Alisa but that is probably because it was the name of a character on home and away about twenty years ago so always sounds Australian to me ( I hear an Australian accent in my head!).

My favourite is Rhona.

AnyaMoondial · 06/03/2018 19:39

*bah I meant Ailsa. Sabotaged by my phone.

squarecorners · 06/03/2018 19:44

Do any of those names actually have meaning to you or do you just like the sound of them? If any of those have a special meaning I would plump for that one.

stardust18 · 06/03/2018 19:52

My girls are Arabella and Penelope. I also love Hope

LadyPug · 06/03/2018 20:02

I love Elva, it’s on our list and seems nobody else uses it! We were going for Elodie but it’s just way too popular, feel like it’s the new Isla!

IVflytrap · 06/03/2018 20:05

I like Carina, Lara and Ailsa. Eleanor and Rose are nice, but less unusual than your other names.

Martina
Rosalind
Maura
Audrey
Kezia
Freya
Sorcha
Orla

Lavenderdays · 06/03/2018 20:11

I have an Eleanor...her name has travelled well with her and plenty of opportunity for nn: Elle, Ella, Ellie. I guess I am bias x

ChocolateCrunch · 06/03/2018 20:44

I like Carina from your list. Eliza, Clara, Marina, Alyssa, Josephine, Gabriela?

Counter27 · 06/03/2018 21:17

@squarecorners yes one of them is a family name, the others are purely based on what we like the sound of / goes with our surname

@ladypug ooh great! I've not seen anyone else put that on their shortlist, I like it as it's different but can just imagine what the family will think!!!
