What do you think.of Everett for a boy?

I'm sorry but I don't like it at all. It's a surname isn't it.

Immediately think of Kenny Everett.

To me it's a name that would be more popular in the USA. I quite like it individually despite not liking the style generally (surname-ish). I've seen it come up before I think here on mumsnet and most posters were not fans. I also know an Everett in the US and he is one of the most gorgeous little boys I've ever seen.

I like Emmett, and Evelyn. Though Evelyn is a name like Hilary- can be unisex.

I don't like it. I immediately thought of Everett out of paw patrol, but then maybe he's actually Everest.

Actually as I think about it it's growing on me.

He would wear handmade jumpers and glasses and have messy mousy hair but then you'd notice he had really piercing blue eyes.

I know someone called Everett who gets called Evy (Evvy). It really suits him.

It's a surname

It’s not my taste at all but as surname names go, it’s one of the better ones I’ve heard. I’m on the fence.

I don’t understand the whole trend for American surnames as names.

It works ok in the US, but here it just sounds very affected wannabe American.

Plus Everett is my sister’s surname so that would be no from me.

Chase Everett the singer, first came to mind its a lovely name. I also think of Mount Everest as well...
