Going out of my mind

As the subject says. I have so many names for both genders on my list that I literally can't cope. Could I have boys and girls suggestions for the surname of Rozee pronounced R-ozzie please.

Would it perhaps be more effective to ask opinions on your current list rather than risk adding to one that’s stressing you out?

Afternoon · 02/03/2018 20:24

OP, can you give us some hints about the sort of names you prefer? Classic, vintage, nature, royal, trendy, hippie, short/long etc? Can you tell us three random names you like and three you actively dislike?

chezmk1988 · 02/03/2018 20:33

I like vintage names, traditional names. My two boys have common and traditional names and although I love them I want to be a bit different. Can't stand made up names or hyphenated names. Dislike flower names too. I'll post the main lists. Please comment your opinions and remember my surname and add if you like x

Wow your list is long
Imo you don’t need more names suggested - you just need to look inside yourself - what is the name you have always loved, what name comes first into your head when you are thinking of the baby in your tummy?
Try and get a shortlist of 2/3 for each gender and then wait until they are born and see what they suit
You are overthinking this

MnaSneachta · 02/03/2018 20:37

I think rozee is an unusual enough sur name that you should pair it with a first name that is certain, as in, people know what they've heard so they are certain where the first name ends and therefore where the sur name begins.

I like all of your names except Evangeline and Winona. I don't dislike them but ... well, Eve and Winnie are nice. But Winnie with Rozzie doesn't work. Nothing beginning with P

TooManyMiles · 02/03/2018 20:40

Margot Rozee

Isaac Rozee

chezmk1988 · 02/03/2018 20:47

I would have Ezra always first out of them all but it doesn't go with the surname does it when it's said out loud?

I like Francesca as I love nn Frankie for a girl but OH isn't as sure

From your list I LOVE Susannah and Isaac.

Rainbowsandflowers78 · 03/03/2018 05:34

I agree Susannah and Issac nice

Why not something a bit more conventional like Eric or Evan or Ethan? Not keen on Ezra sorry

blinkineckmum · 03/03/2018 06:07

Susannah and Helena are great.

neveradullmoment99 · 03/03/2018 06:13

I love Edith. Beautiful name. Not used much [where I come from]

IggyAce · 03/03/2018 06:27

Evangeline, Adeline and Vivienne like all of these not too popular (currently) all have nice potential nn and sound fine with your surname.
Isaac or Edward work with your surname. I like Ezra but it doesn't go with surname.

mathanxiety · 03/03/2018 07:18

From your list, with your surname, I like:
Martha
Francesca
Susannah
Winona

Isaac
Max
Asa

Some of the names do not flow well at all with the surname - Ezra, Zachariah, Travis, Leander, Edward, Evander - too many Rs running into each other.

chezmk1988 · 03/03/2018 10:09

I do love the idea of a baby Susannah nn Susie if it's a girl. I do love Isaac as well so so far thinking about those two. If anyone else wants to put their opinions on then please do. Thanks x

Some lovely names on your list! My favourites are Francesca or Lucille for a girl and Isaac or Max for a boy. Good luck deciding!
