Amber is really nice
Georgia is nice too but personally I prefer Georgina
Robyn is my favourite of your names, it's ace.

Winchester13 · 27/02/2018 23:39

Thank you :) I like them all, can’t choose. Which do you think goes with Scarlett (big sister) ? X

Scarlett and Georgia go best I think (although I also have a love of Georgina).

Winchester13 · 27/02/2018 23:43

Thank you Georgina is nice too ! :))

Not Amber with Scarlett. Too twee.

Robyn is nondescript. Georgia is ok.

leghoul · 27/02/2018 23:44

Georgia, hands down. Gorgeous name and will stand the test of time

ThatsWotSheSaid · 27/02/2018 23:48

All lovely names.... I’m no help am I

Echobelly · 27/02/2018 23:51

Georgia's pretty ubiquitous these days, although maybe not quite as popular as it was 10 years ago.

Amber's OK, but it's one of those names that doesn't work well with every surname (have a young cousin called Amber, and it doesn't go with her last name)

I do think Robyn is cute, and relatively unusual without being weird.

Winchester13 · 27/02/2018 23:57

Yes it makes it hard when you put them with surnames too! And sibling names ! :o

Just realised Scarlett and Georgia together is like the Royal babies haha

Amber - v nice
Georgia - lovely
Robyn - no
Megan - lovely

Winchester13 · 28/02/2018 00:03

Does Georgia sounds stupid with Forster? - surname !

OP posts:
Sarah0574 · 28/02/2018 00:16

They are very similar sounding. I'd cross Georgia off your list with that surname !

Winchester13 · 28/02/2018 00:16

That’s what I was thinking ! :( booo

Scarlett & Megan.

I wouldn't go for another colour name (Amber), Georgia doesn't sound great with your surname, and I feel another 'red' theme name (Robyn) wouldn't be good (though that could just be me!!).

Megan is lovely!

chezmk1988 · 28/02/2018 11:58

Love Georgia and Robyn but dislike Amber

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 28/02/2018 12:21

I like Amber and Megan, not keen on the others sorry.

SnowShow1 · 28/02/2018 14:01

Like all but Robyn but with your surname I think Georgia and Amber don't go.

So Megan Foster gets my voteWink

17caterpillars1mouse · 28/02/2018 15:33

I always think Amber sounds trashy

Georgia is nice but I prefer Georgiana, Georgina, Georgetta or Georgette

I like Robyn in theory but i just can't get behind it. I prefer Robin on a boy

Megan is lovely

Moominfan · 28/02/2018 15:56

Robyn. Georgia...ects are really popular here

daisypond · 28/02/2018 16:13

I like Amber - I don't see it as a colour name, but as a semiprecious stone used in jewellery, so it's more like Ruby as a name. But now it's been mentioned, I do think Scarlett and Amber are odd. I think Georgia is downmarket these days, I'm afraid - its time has long gone. Georgina is better. Robyn - not keen. Robin is just about OK for a boy, but Robyn just seems silly. Roberta? Megan is nice.

fearfultrill · 28/02/2018 17:40

I like Robyn but spelled Robin instead.

MonsteraDeliciosa · 01/03/2018 00:46

Love Georgia, love Amber, think Robyn's quite nice...

Megan is the most boring, anonymous name in the world, ubiquitous. It's not even a nice sounding name or word.

mathanxiety · 01/03/2018 00:54

You can't have Scarlett and Georgia - for too 'Gone with the WInd'.

Robyn seems to be coming up quite a bit on MN threads lately. I would avoid it because of the 'robin redbreast' association, with Scarlett being red too.

Amber and Scarlett go well imo despite both being colours.

(MonsteraDeliciosa I share your dislike of the name Megan).
