Our Baby girl is going to be born in a week and we don't have a name.
We like
Grace
Elizabeth
Charlotte

We can't decide and we're not sure if we want those names either.
Our children are called
Zarah May
Amelia rose

We want a middle name too, but if we end up going for Charlotte it have to be a middle name that starts with C

Any help would be much appreciated

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

The 3 names are all lovely.
Grace will get Gracie. It's a bit popular. Fairly classic.
Elizabeth is classic but choose a nn. There are loads and loads. (Liz, Lizzie, Libby, Lily, Elsie, Elsa, Lisa, Eliza, Beth, Bet, Betsy, Bess etc)
Charlotte - if it's good enough for the Cambridges. Classic. Could be shortened to Charlie, Charl, Lotte, Lottie.

In order of preference I like Elizabeth (so many options for her), Grace then Charlotte.

DwangelaForever · 15/02/2018 19:03

My daughter is called Charlotte I love it 😍 we call her Char for short sometimes. She's not very dainty or delicate so Lottie doesn't fit her very well 🙈 her granda used to call her chubby Charley when she was small but that doesn't suit her either.

She has a cousin called Grace and my middle name is Elizabeth so I like all the names but am biased towards Charlotte!

DwangelaForever · 15/02/2018 19:04

@MikeUniformMike you forgot Lillian! My 77 year old Granny gets called Lillian and her name is Elizabeth!

MikeUniformMike · 15/02/2018 19:10

Yes, Lillian, back in fashion. I did put an etc at the end of my list. So much scope with Elizabeth. I usually say it as Lizbeth so it doesn't really need shortening.

I think I would go for Charlotte Grace but Charlotte Claire or Charlotte Christina is nice if you want a middle name starting with C

ChocolateCrunch · 15/02/2018 20:50

Charlotte would be my choice. Like Grace too, but not keen on Elizabeth.

MadameJosephine · 15/02/2018 20:56

Elizabeth Grace, gorgeous

Lavenderdays · 15/02/2018 21:15

Elizabeth is at the top of our list for dd3 - wont say what the other two dd's are called for fear of outing myself. Elizabeth is used so often as a middle name and I didn't think much of it to start off with but the more people repeated it back to me, the more it grew on me and now I think it is really lovely...nn. will be Lizzie I think x I don't think you can go wrong with any of your short-listed names though x

daisypond · 15/02/2018 21:19

I like Grace and Elizabeth a lot. I'm not keen on Charlotte, but that's because I associate it with other Ch names - Chardonnay, Cheryl, Charlene, Chantelle, etc - none of which I like. I might try to think hard of Charlotte Bronte, but I'm afraid it doesn't stick.
