What do you think? Surname will be Black.

He likes Eric Arthur but I'm not so keen.

I prefer Eric Arthur. Much funkier.

mumpoints · 14/02/2018 17:41

Prefer Archie Black to Eric Black

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/02/2018 17:47

Archie is much better.

ChocolateCrunch · 14/02/2018 17:50

Definitely Archie William

pipilangstrumpf · 14/02/2018 22:26

Eric is nice

Archie isn't

MikeUniformMike · 14/02/2018 22:52

Eric.

Iceskatingsnake · 14/02/2018 23:19

I like Archie William.

pipilangstrumpf · 15/02/2018 07:54

Cutesy names like Archie, Alfie etc will soon sound dated imo.

MammieBear · 15/02/2018 09:01

Lovely, very sweet.

strawberrypenguin · 15/02/2018 09:06

Eric William

LadyPug · 15/02/2018 09:16

I like Archie

fearfultrill · 15/02/2018 09:17

Archie definitely. Although I would name him Archibald to be known as Archie.

PeonyTruffle · 15/02/2018 10:11

I have an Archie. I don’t think it’s cutesy Confused

My Archie’s middle name is Jack

TulipsInABlueVase · 15/02/2018 11:43

Eric is much nicer.

Eric Black is amazing.

pipilangstrumpf · 15/02/2018 14:18

Eric Black is much cooler than Archibald Black!

cptartapp · 15/02/2018 14:52

Yep, Archie is too cutesy, same vein as Charlie, Freddie, Alfie, Albie, etc etc. Somewhat insubstantial and will date. William is gorgeous.
William Eric or William Arthur. Archie doesn't fit with any of those.

franktheskank · 15/02/2018 15:47

Archie William is lovely , Eric though ....
Confused

Sophronia · 15/02/2018 19:50

I like Eric Black

daisypond · 15/02/2018 21:41

Eric is better than Archie, which is diminutive and cutesy. Archer? Not the sort of name I'd normally go for, but it sounds rather good to me.

Kokeshi123 · 15/02/2018 23:26

Archer is nice. Archie by itself is OK though.

Buntysoven · 15/02/2018 23:50

I'm not keen on both Eric and Black ending in the same sound. Archie Black is fab.

MealyPotatoes · 15/02/2018 23:56

They both sound cool. Just see which you prefer once he's here.

A few Archies in my family. Big tough Scotsmen - not cutesy!

RebeccaWrongDaily · 16/02/2018 00:50

has archie / alfie etc not had its day now?

DramaAlpaca · 16/02/2018 00:53

Eric is much nicer.

I don't like Archie because it's cutesy & nicknamey. And the name it's derived from, Archibald, is awful.
