I like it.

TidyDancer · 10/02/2018 20:28

Lovely name, prefer the spellings of Rosaline or Roselyn though.

TatianaLarina · 10/02/2018 20:31

Prefer Rosalie I think it’s prettier.

annie8417 · 10/02/2018 20:31

Yes I like the spelling Rosaline too but wasn't sure on how to say it 😳

1haudyerwheesht · 10/02/2018 20:32

I like Rosaleen

Smoliver · 10/02/2018 20:51

It's a very pretty name Smile

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 10/02/2018 21:07

Rosaleen is beautiful.

Pompom42 · 10/02/2018 21:09

Yes and yes to all of the examples above

NewYearNiki · 10/02/2018 21:11

Love it

scrabbler3 · 10/02/2018 21:14

annie8417 · 10/02/2018 21:23

ChocolateCrunch · 10/02/2018 21:23

I prefer Rosalie or Rosalind

kaytee87 · 10/02/2018 21:31

I would pronounce Rosalyn as Roza-lin and Rosaline as Rosa-Leen

I do really like Rosalie with nn Rosa

chocoshopoholic · 10/02/2018 21:32

Against the grain. I prefer the spelling as Rosalyn like my great aunt. I haven't come across anyone younger with it, but think it's a lovely name

Mossbystrand · 10/02/2018 21:37

A lady I used to work with is called Rosalyn, she's smart, funny and very clever. She is in her early 40's, it's a name which suits both a baby and a grown woman.

StabbyBitchTheEvilWitch · 10/02/2018 21:41

It’s my mums name, on her bc it’s spelled Rosalind but she has always spelt it Rosaline. Hers is pronounced Roz-er-Lyn. I’m not a fan to be honest & this may out me but one grandchild callers her big bad rozzer! Roz to everybody else to which sound really harsh for a little girl.

athingthateveryoneneeds · 10/02/2018 21:43

I like it, and almost used it, but I didn't like the.inevitable Roz nicknames. I wanted a rose name, though, and we ended up.witb Rosabel. (polarised opinions on that one)

Having said that, Rose names are quite ubiquitous, and a Roz sound isn't nearly as popular. I don't think you can go wrong with Rosalyn.

NoSquirrels · 10/02/2018 21:44

I like it, although I’d go for Rosalind myself.

annie8417 · 10/02/2018 21:49

For a nickname we were hoping it'd be shortened to Rosa x

OP posts:
itwasmexxx · 10/02/2018 21:49

I know someone called Rosalind and she's an evil narcissist, so no!

kaytee87 · 10/02/2018 22:19

I'd maybe go with the spelling Rosaline then op as to me Rosalyn has a Z sound rather than the softer S in Rosa.

MountainDweller · 10/02/2018 22:30

Pretty and timeless (am biased as my middle name is Roslyn) Grin

MikeUniformMike · 11/02/2018 15:01

Rosalind is lovely. Rosa is a name in it's own right and it's pretty.

RavenWings · 11/02/2018 15:05

I like Rosalyn/Rosalind and Rosa. Not liking Rosaline, Rosaleen or Roselyn.

I also like Rosanna, Rosalie, Roisin.
