Boy name beginning with J?

Hi everyone. I’m looking for a boy name that goes with Joshua and Jacob...

Joshua, Jacob and .... ? Hmm

I thought it would be easy but I simply cannot settle

Also James is my brother and dads and grandads and great grandads name... so there’s a fair amount of pressure for it to be James. But my brother is an alcoholic which puts me right off. I’m unsure if it should bother me but it does.

Joseph is nice but my mums just fostered a child called Joseph who isn’t very nice to my boys so that’s put them off that name slightly (although it may wear off).

Josiah was mentioned by my youngest but I don’t think it flows like the others

@KittyLover91 I’m worried people will think I’m naming him after Assange! Same as Jeremy being a no-no

James would have been my clear favourite, but I understand why you're reluctant, given the associations. Jamie?

Jonathan, Jon, John, Johnny, Jerome, Jeremy, Jeremiah, Jerry, Joel, Josiah, Jude.

Jolyon is a name I only know from the Forsyte Sage. I assume it's a variant on Julian, but have never checked. It would be misspelled and mispronounced like nobody's business, so I don't know why I'm mentioning it, really! Grin
