Hi,
We have a baby due in 3 weeks and we can’t decide on a boys name, we have chosen a girls name so that’s a start.
We already have a little girl called Edith so we ideally want a name to go with that.
Please help!!!!

I do like Henry but we can’t have it for certain reasons.

I like traditional and old fashioned names but not anything that is too popular. Edith was going to be Joseph if she had been a boy but I don’t like joe. It’s so difficult as you know their name will get shortened.

Edith and Noah. Noah can't be shortened, is classic, traditional and trendy without being too popular.

I love Albert as I like Albie for short but the other half doesn’t like it. What do you think to Austin? I love it, my other half says he might be able to be persuaded. I’m hoping it’s a girl just because we have a name that we both love.

I think it goes... it’s more ‘American’ than Edith in style, but together they sound well.

Sophisticatedsarcasm · 01/02/2018 22:43

Caleb is a fave of mine. I feel like Samuel is kind of wearing thin nowadays

pipilangstrumpf · 03/02/2018 10:51

Love Edith.

For a boy how about Arthur, Quentin or Miles?
