We are decided on Francesca/Frankie as a first name for our daughter, and are now deciding between two middle names. Which do you prefer?

Frankie Beth
Frankie Rose

Thanks!

Frankie Rose

Frankie Beth doesn’t sound nice to me... I can’t put my finger on why!

Francesca Rose is nice, but Rose is a really popular middle name, if that bothers you. Still very nice though.

Frankie Rose

Frankie Rose

Rose. Unless you were going to use Elizabeth instead of Beth. I don't think Beth is a strong-enough name to use on its own.

Frankie Rose

Rose

Rose, Grace and May/Mae are such over used middle names. Beth is ok.
How about another alternative? Francesca Lily, Francesca Scarlett, Francesca Ava, Francesca Alice.....

Wow1234 · 31/01/2018 20:49

Rose

Rose over Beth

Frankie Beth sounds far too like Manky Breath.

Bear in mind that unless you're planning to address her by two names (Frankie Beth or Frankie Rose) her second name will usually be used in a formal context i.e. with the full first name. So the real comparison may be Francesca Beth and Francesca Rose.
