Hi there, currently half way through my pregnancy with my second daughter. My first is Erin Angelica, for our second we want another short & sweet first name but not too popular,
our list currently is: Nina, Cleo, Lyla, Mira & Blake .. Thoughts?? Be honest we want to avoid all potential funny faces when we tell people our daughters names (grin)
Thanks! x

Alba.

ChocolateCrunch · 28/01/2018 22:45

I really like Cleo, but not keen on your other choices, sorry

LML83 · 28/01/2018 22:45

really like Erin and Nina, don't know why as not my usual sort of name but thinks as a pair it's really nice. (and lovely on its own of course)

Justgivemesomepeace · 28/01/2018 22:45

I know an Erin and Isla. I quite like Cleo from your list. Not keen on Blake.

MonaTheMoaner · 28/01/2018 22:46

I really like Nina.

Greensleeves · 28/01/2018 22:47

Orla

jacqcn411 · 28/01/2018 22:48

Nina & Cleo are our two favourites, yet the two family have pulled faces at, how frustrating! Glad to see them being favoured on here

Brockovitch 😃

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 28/01/2018 22:49

Erin and Nina.
Other suggestions.
Rosa. Kate. Leah. Cora

Maremaremare · 28/01/2018 22:50

I like Nina and Cleo too!

LML83 · 28/01/2018 22:50

it's easy to pull faces at an idea, when baby is here family will be delighted (if not their opinion is worth bothering about.)

mamalovebird · 28/01/2018 22:51

The first name that popped in my head when I saw Erin was Aria- I don't know why... I don't even know if it's an actual name... but I like it.

DramaAlpaca · 28/01/2018 22:52

Erin & Nina are nicest together from your list.

The only one on your list I don't like is Blake as I don't see it as a girls' name.

peachypetite · 28/01/2018 22:52

Alice

Muddlingalongalone · 28/01/2018 22:53

I like Nina but not so much with Erin - it feels like there are too many n's when you say E & N or E,N when calling to them.
What about Lara?

jacqcn411 · 28/01/2018 22:54

My only slight reservation with Nina is that her surname will be Nixon, too matchy matchy? Feel it needs a long pretty middle name to break it up.

I like Nina and Lyla from your list. Other suggestions:

Alba
Leah
Layla
Pippa

Worldsworstcook · 28/01/2018 22:56

Finn - my dd has it and loves it.

Taila is also nice

RavenWings · 28/01/2018 22:59

Nina - love it
Cleo - nope, cat/car name
Lyla - not keen. I love Lyra though
Mira - pretty. What about Mina?
Blake - boys name. I know Blake Lively exists but it's still very male. I absolutely love Blair, though.

Suggestions: Rana, Fern, Orla, Una, Ivy, Zoe, Zahra, Anya, Hazel, Ida, Lorna.

RavenWings · 28/01/2018 23:00

Oh Nina Nixon is way too matchy imo. Such a shame.

jacqcn411 · 28/01/2018 23:05

I'm more lost than when I started! Cleo is my current fav but i don't want her being picked on for having the same name as a car..
Gosh perhaps I need a whole new list! Keep suggestions coming!x

An old friend had an Erin and a Mia. I don't know how popular Mia is now.

jacqcn411 · 28/01/2018 23:07

Mia is my partners favourite name but i refuse because it's number 6 or something ridiculous.. shame it's such a cute name.

RavenWings · 28/01/2018 23:07

Mia is v popular ime - in the primary school where I work, anyway.

jacqcn411 · 28/01/2018 23:10

How do we feel about Fleur? Too different with Erin?
