Boys name

So from about week 4 we have been set on a girls name, that was easy. My husband desperately wants Felix for a boy but I hate it. I can't name a child after a brand of cat food. The names I love so far are

Theo
Killian
Casper
Sebastian
Ezra
Ellis
Rohan

What other names can I put forward to get him off Felix?

Not sure about boys names, but would Felicity work as a middle name for a girl, or a "second girl if we have one" name? Or Felix as a middle name for a boy?

Would that help soften the blow for him?

Casper is a ghost....

Lucas
Toby

Caspar, love it- its crisp, fun, strong, masculine but creative and outgoing sounding.

Ignore the stupid ghost comments, every name could have an association of some sort, if we listened to every comment like this we'd have no names.

Like Ezra and Sebastian.
How about:
Ezekiel nn zeke
Lucien

SilverySurfer · 26/01/2018 14:12

Marcus
Drew
Cosmo

I already have a Toby, I am all up for him having Felix as a middle name I just can't bring myself to use it as a forename. My name is awful and I've spent my life wishing my mum gave me a "normal" name. As for the ghost comment. I have an Eden, that's a garden, Toby is a dogs name apparently, if we didn't use names because they were used before we'd all be stuck!! Lol

I love the names on offer. I think my issue is a dislike Felix so much everything else sounds amazing lol

Jasper as an alternative to Casper? Rex? Marcus?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 26/01/2018 18:42

I actually like Ellis.😄

AnElderlyLadyOfMediumHeight · 26/01/2018 18:50

Why can't you 'name him after a brand of cat food' but you're happy to give him a name that will see him constantly followed by jokes about killing people? (Not that there's anything wrong with Kilian - it's spelt with one L, I believe - but that is what will unfortunately happen).

I like Caspar (with two As!) and Sebastian. They're in a similar vein to Felix. Ellis is awful, Ezra I can't get past Ezra Pound, Theo is OK, not keen on Rohan.

GlorianaBanana · 26/01/2018 18:55

@sundowners I don't think my ghost comment is any stupid as OP not liking Felix because it's a brand of cat food.

GlorianaBanana · 26/01/2018 18:55

Yeah much prefer Jasper! Good idea.

Kgoy0811 · 01/02/2018 12:43

Hi, we have a baby due in 3 weeks and we cannot agree on a boys name. We have a girls name picked so that’s a start. We already have a little girl called Edith so ideally we want a name to go with that. Please help!!!!

Kgoy0811 · 01/02/2018 12:45

Sorry I’m new to this and I meant to add a new thread. Sorry.

babyboots · 01/02/2018 12:48

Our boys names have been Theo, Magnus and Felix! I also really like Linus, Hugh and Torin.
