What do you think? I love Amelie but Amelia was 2nd top name last year. Is that off putting or should I ignore?

Depends whether you mind her potentially having pals with the same name. Also think it depends on your surname!

Phoebe is probably the least popular. Although I personally don't like it, but. It's not my baby
I can abide Amelie. It's like a cross between Emily and Amelia gone hideous wrong, but again. It's not my baby.
I cant fault Willow its gorgeous.

I like them all but I think Willow is the prettiest and most unusual

Aw you have great taste OP! I love Phoebe and Willow but both seem to be getting popular if that bothers you or not? They are so gentle and beautiful sounding (to me anyway).

Amelie is nice, I much prefer it to Amelia! I would imagine that she may get called Amelia a lot by mistake though? Its a great name though and a great film.

I love the film Amelie, so therefore Amelie is a great name in my opinion.
Phoebe and Willow are also gorgeous - they're on my shortlist too.

I think if you name your child Willow you’ll have to hope she grows up tall and willowy or it might not suit her that’s ridiculous I know but you did ask for opinions

Amélie is beautiful, French and classy.
Phoebe makes me instantly think of the ditzy one in Friends.
I have a male cat called Willow who is a spoilt and whining pain in the butt so it's too difficult for me to imagine a lovely little girl with that name.

I really like all 3. In light of Amelia's popularity, I'd probably go with Phoebe or Willow.

I really think Amelie has been done to death since that film - it's nearly 20 years old now, and the name will date terribly. I don't dislike Willow - but it's a cat's name to me. I like Phoebe the best.
