We have just found out that baby number 7 is a girl and have a list of names for her but we are undecided whether to settle on her name before she’s born or after to see what name she may suit ?

Any opinions please ?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 21/01/2018 20:05

I would start considering now. 😄
What sort of names do you like ?

Bigfamily10 · 21/01/2018 20:09

Tabitha
Georgia
Henrietta
Esme
Zoe
Luna

This is our list so far- we do not like any real moden names as siblings are 21,20 and 19 years old :s

We made lists but didn't pick names until after our DCs arrived (some names were added/dropped after each birth). In the case of DD we still couldn't decide on a name for 5 weeks after she arrived!

Tabitha - yes
Georgia -yes
Henrietta - yes but think of Duck-face
Esme - maybe
Zoe - yes
Luna - no

Love Zoe and Tabitha.
Tabitha Zoe is nice !

I'd have a short list and see what she looks like or what 'feels' right at the time (there's no immediate rush). I love Zoe, Esme and Georgia (although I know an adult Georgia who gets very annoyed at constantly correcting for Georgina).

StrictlySnow · 22/01/2018 20:45

Tabitha - love
Georgia - love
Henrietta - nice but prefer Harriet
Esme - don’t like
Zoe - not keen
Luna - really don’t like
I do prefer more traditional names and don’t think your last 3 are classic names really but first 3 all beautiful

Tabitha or Zoë are lovely. Luna is nice but a bit of an 'it' name I feel. Dislike the others.

CuppaTeaTime2 · 23/01/2018 11:10

I would have two of three names that you really like, and decide when she's here.

CuppaTeaTime2 · 23/01/2018 11:10

or three*
