Yes, I know it’s been done to death, but I’m getting a bit desperate! Dc2 (ds1) will be here next week and we’re no closer to a name.

There are so many threads about girl names on here just now! I swear girl names are easier.

Before DS was born our shortlist was
Eric
Edmund/Teddy
George

(All quite "safe", I know, but a couple of family names and one we just liked)

None of them suited him, so we played about with
Oscar
Stanley
His name
And a few others I've forgotten

I won't be sharing his name publicly, which I've come to realise is my absolute favourite boy's name, but only because it's fairly outing (it's way way down in popularity ranks, around 30 kids with it in 2016)

Since he was born I've liked
Gilbert
Arthur

Other names I like but wouldn't suit for various reasons
Sebastian
Bradley
Jonathan
Robin

I have a Matthew and an Adam so they are my favourites!

Others on our shortlist were James, Daniel, Alexander, Samuel Joshua, Ethan and Dominic.

Good luck deciding!
