Indigo
Piper
Novah
Nevah
Caia.
Which do you prefer and why?

Nova with no 'H' at the end. It's a bit unusual. Bit retro, almost.

Then Indigo. Good shortening potential to 'Indie'. But maybe consider India? Blue if there's a colour theme going.

Not fussed about the others and not keen an adding extra consonants to be unique.

JacintaJones · 16/01/2018 21:23

Nova, spelt this way.

I don't like any of the others although Indigo is passable I suppose.

PeasAndHarmony · 16/01/2018 21:23

I'm afraid the only one I like is Nova but spelled properly (ie without the -h).

stellarfox · 16/01/2018 21:27

Not keen on any of them to be honest but Indigo is quite unusual. Indie would be a cute nickname. Caia would be better spelt Kaia. Piper is ok but I don’t find it very feminine. Novah and Nevah are very trendy spellings. What about Niamh/Neve instead?

Chocolateyescakeyes · 16/01/2018 21:33

Thank you for the replys. I didn't realise the 'h's were the 'trendier' spellings, so yeah I can see why you wouldn't like those. I do like Niamh/Neve but have a new addition to the family with that name and so it would cause too much confusion.

Another vote for Neva

SmiledWithTheRisingSun · 16/01/2018 21:47

Indigo.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 16/01/2018 22:07

Nova.

SuperBeagle · 16/01/2018 23:00

Piper or Neva.

How do you feel about Tova? It's Hebrew and means "good". Has a similar vibe to some of the names on your list.

DramaAlpaca · 16/01/2018 23:24

Nova, Neva & Kaia (those spellings) are OK. I'm not keen on the other two.

ChocolateCrunch · 17/01/2018 10:58

Indigo, but prefer India. Like both because of nn Indie.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 17/01/2018 11:14

Indigo. I like India too.

Vita?

peachypips · 17/01/2018 11:33

Indigo and Nova

MrsTiggyWinkle3 · 17/01/2018 11:38

Indigo- it's different but pretty.

heron98 · 17/01/2018 11:56

Are these even names?

RidingWindhorses · 17/01/2018 12:12

Not another Vauxhall Nova.

Don't like any tbh.

Standardpubquizname · 17/01/2018 12:14

Indigo and Piper mostly because I prefer the sound/look of them to the others but partly because the others would be difficult for others to know how to spell/pronounce imo

Oysterbabe · 17/01/2018 12:41

Piper.

RebeccaWrongDaily · 17/01/2018 13:04

is Neva pronounced Nee-va or Never?

I only don't dislike Indigo (but prefer India)

daisypond · 17/01/2018 20:58

I prefer Indigo out of your list and I do actually like it, though it's not the sort of name I would go for myself. It's miles better than India, which has horrid connotations of the British Raj and colonialism. I don't like the others. I've not heard of Novah, Nevah or Caia before. Novah makes me think of Nova, the car. Nevah might be better as Niamh, or it sounds a bit like Never. Caia is OK, but might cause pronunciation problems. I don't like surnames or jobs as a name, so I wouldn't be keen on Piper.

Joeybee · 17/01/2018 22:47

Indigo or Piper. If I'm honest I don't like the rest of the names on the list.
Indigo is good and Indie is a cool nickname.

Piper is quite a cool name, not too popular or too out-there.

Nova is nice without the h on the end.

BrutusMcDogface · 17/01/2018 22:52

Really dislike piper. It's so unfeminine and just reminds me of a person who plays the bagpipes.

I like indigo.

BrutusMcDogface · 17/01/2018 22:53

Never heard of nevah (pronounced neev-ah?) or caia?

anothernetter · 17/01/2018 23:00

I don't like any of them to be honest. Nevah?? Is that even a name? Please don't call them that. The poor child would be the subject of endless micky taking. Indigo sounds so try hard and not really a name. Sorry I don't mean to be harsh but I want to be honest. If I had to choose one it would be Caia.

mum2be2boys · 17/01/2018 23:05

I prefer Indigo because I like the nn Indie. It makes me think of the colour though.
